Glossary
One sentence each. Units and windows are in the sentence when the console has them. Terms for features that are not in the open beta are not listed.
OTC
The protocol at otcdesks.cash. OTC OS reads it. OTC OS does not run it.
Desk
An NFT in the OTC desk collection. In a payout round, every desk that is paid gets the same share.
$OTC
The token of the OTC protocol.
$OTCOS
Not launched. No contract address is official until Official links lists one.
Access
A tier name. Free during the beta. After the beta, live data and AI need Access. No date and no price is published.
Access Pass
The pass planned to remove the public delay after the beta. During the open beta there is no delay and no pass is needed.
Premium
A tier above Access. It adds the watchlist, alerts, and history export. Planned, not active in the open beta. No price is published.
Public view
The console without Access. During the open beta it has no delay. After the beta it is planned to run 30 minutes behind on the live feed and 3 hours behind on summaries.
Live wire
The event list on Live (/console).
More
The phone tab that holds $OTC, Safety, OTC site status, and Docs.
Radar
A notice of unusual activity on a recent coin. The Live row says "Attention signal, not a call." The stored flag uses a score of 70 or more on a coin younger than 72 hours. A rate, when shown, covers the last 7 days excluding the last 24 hours.
Heat
A score from 0 to 100 on Coins → Hot. It mixes the 1-hour and 6-hour move, volume against the 24-hour average, holder growth, radar alerts, and mentions. It is not a safety result.
Score
The momentum number Radar used to print. The Live row no longer treats that number as a rating. See Radar.
Sentiment
A label on an hourly chat summary, from a model reading of stored chat text. It can be wrong.
Hook
The launcher's Hooks field: Reward, King of the Hill, or Index. See Hooks. Not the same as a token transfer rule.
Index
The launcher hook that pays holders from a changing list of up to 10 coins. Entry figures OTC published on 2026-10-13: $100K+ market cap, $1K+ liquidity, and launched on OTC. OTC has not published how the top 10 are picked.
Launcher list
Coins launched through OTC's launcher. Coins → New lists them newest first.
Spotted market cap
The market cap recorded when Radar first noticed a coin.
Danger
The safety result's strongest label. Hot and Top hide Danger coins until "Show Danger coins" is on. Coins not checked yet stay in the list.
Runners
A filter on the Live feed for fast-moving new coins. Coins → Hot is the board. Runners is the older name, and it is still the filter label.
Runner
A recent launch that is moving fast. The Live filter is still labelled Runners. The score is not a safety result.
Launch
A new coin created through OTC. Coins → New lists those launches, newest first.
Buyback
The protocol using revenue to buy $OTC. Overview shows that buyback total and the supply drop as separate figures.
Burn
Tokens sent to an address where they can no longer be used. The supply drop is starting supply minus the current supply. It is not the same figure as Burned by buybacks.
Mint and freeze authority
Permissions that let a creator print more of a token or freeze accounts. Whether they are still set is part of the safety check.
Tier
The access level on the console: Public, Access, or Premium. What each tier includes is in Getting started.
All-in price
List price plus a 5% creator royalty plus the venue's taker fee. One venue's fee in the product has not been checked against a live listing.
Effective price
All-in price minus unclaimed rewards, in SOL. Blank when either input is missing.
Unclaimed rewards
Rewards sitting on a desk that have not been claimed.
Payout round
One distribution to desks. Share = lamports in ÷ desks paid. Rounds with no desks paid are skipped.
Payback
Effective price ÷ average SOL per desk per day over the last 7 days (and over 30 days when that history exists). Needs 7 days of rounds on record. The product's note: "Estimate at recent earnings, not a guarantee."
Est. APR at floor
The selected window's per-desk earnings, scaled to 365 days, divided by the floor price. Past window. Not a forecast.
Floor
The lowest current listing price in the desk collection.
As of
The time a figure was produced. Past the source's target, the console marks it stale.
Watch only
A wallet read from public chain data. The console cannot move its funds. It does not ask for a recovery phrase or a transfer approval.
Open beta
The current release. Free during the beta. After the beta, live data and AI need Access.
