FAQ
Is OTC OS free?
Free during the beta. After the beta, some features need Access. Live data and AI are the ones named so far. No date and no price is published.
Is this financial advice?
No. OTC OS shows public data and tools. It does not predict prices or tell you to buy, sell or hold. Prices can fall and you can lose money.
How fresh is the data?
Every figure shows an as-of time. Fresh means inside the source's target. Stale means past that target. Very stale dims the figures. Unavailable is an empty state, not a zero.
Targets used on the launch pages: live events 5 minutes (stale after 30), Hot 3 minutes (stale after 30), desk balances 15 minutes (stale after 6 hours 15 minutes), desk listings 15 minutes (stale after 45), revenue 1 hour (stale after 6), OTC stats 15 minutes (stale after 1 hour), $OTC price 2 minutes (stale after 10).
During the open beta there is no delay: everyone sees live events and summaries as they land. After the beta, the public view is planned to run behind and Access to remove that. See Getting started.
Why is a number different from another site?
From on-chain data and public DEX prices, as of the time shown next to the figure. The console stores those reads, plus OTC's public API. Another site can use another pool or a newer read. Compare as-of times. A source that is down shows as unavailable.
Why does payback differ from what I calculated?
Payback is the effective price divided by average daily earnings per desk. The effective price is the all-in price minus unclaimed rewards. The all-in price adds a 5% creator royalty and a venue fee. Earnings are the last 7 days of payout rounds, or 30 days when that history exists. A missing input leaves the figure blank. See Desks.
Does a clean safety check mean a coin is safe?
No. The line is "No issues found in these checks. That is not a guarantee." The result lists what was not checked. See Safety check.
Does OTC OS have a token?
OTC OS has no token yet. Any token that claims to be ours before our announcement is fake. We'll announce it only on our official X account and this site.
Does OTC OS ask for a recovery phrase or an approval?
It does not ask for a recovery phrase. It does not ask for a token approval or a delegation. Portfolio reads public data from an address you paste.
Why wasn't I paid?
See Why wasn't I paid?. Short version: the keeper skips a wallet with no token account for the reward coin, and that share is not owed later. Whether a minimum holding applies is not published here.
How do I report a problem?
See Help.
