What an OTC desk earns
An OTC desk is an NFT in the OTC desk collection. Its vault is paid by the OTC protocol. The console reads those payments. It does not claim them and it does not hold the desk.
Desks are not consumed, locked, or required to move. Open Desks at /console/desks.
What the Desks section shows
- A grid of desks, with the card, recent sales, and listings.
- A 30-day sales chart: the lowest sale and the median sale per UTC day. There is no public floor-history series, so the chart is sales, not the floor.
- A holders table with earnings.
- A page per desk.
What a payout round pays
A payout round is one distribution. Every desk paid in that round gets the same share: the lamports in the round, divided by the number of desks paid. A round with no desks paid is skipped.
The Desks stats bar shows that share over a window you pick: the last hour, the last 6 hours, the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, or the last 30 days. The change is versus the previous window of the same length. If no round landed in the window, the per-desk line shows the rate from the last round instead of zero, and it says so. If the stored history is shorter than the window, the figure is marked partial.
The as-of time is the desk-balance time (target 15 minutes, stale after 6 hours 15 minutes). Listing data is a separate source (target 15 minutes, stale after 45 minutes).
From on-chain data and public DEX prices, as of the time shown next to the figure.
A one-line banner appears when payout timing is behind, slower than usual, or looks paused. A normal cadence shows no banner. The longer note is behind Details, including how many rounds landed in the last 24 hours.
What the price figures are
These are labels for the numbers on a listing. They are not a forecast.
- List price. What the seller asks.
- All-in price. List price plus a 5% creator royalty plus the venue's taker fee. One venue's fee in the product is an assumption that has not been checked against a live listing.
- Unclaimed rewards. Rewards on the desk that have not been claimed.
- Effective price. All-in price minus unclaimed rewards, in SOL. If either input is missing, the effective price is blank.
- Floor. The lowest current listing in the collection.
- Payback. Effective price divided by the average SOL per desk per day. The 7-day figure needs 7 days of rounds on record. A 30-day figure is added when 30 days exist. The product's note: "Estimate at recent earnings, not a guarantee."
- Est. APR at floor. The window's per-desk earnings, scaled to 365 days, divided by the floor. Same past window. Not a forecast.
What the in-app guide says
/console/desks/guide is on in production. Last checked 2026-10-14. It states three steps: get SOL into your own wallet, buy from the official collection using the links on that page, then activate and claim on otcdesks.cash. It says OTC's docs state there is no minimum to collect desk rewards, and that a desk without a token account for a reward asset is skipped for that asset. The rent on that account is refundable when the account is closed.
That "no minimum" line is about collecting desk rewards. It is not the holder-payout check. See Why wasn't I paid?.
How to buy a desk
- Set up a Solana wallet and keep its recovery phrase offline. The console never asks for that phrase.
- Add SOL for the price plus a fee.
- Open the collection on Magic Eden, Tensor or OpenSea from the buttons on the Desks page (the official collection only).
- Check the collection address against the one shown on the page.
- Buy at the listed price or make an offer, and approve it in your wallet.
- Paste the wallet on Portfolio to see earnings. The console does not connect a wallet, and it does not ask for a transfer approval to show them.
Risks: this is not financial advice. Prices can fall. Fake collections exist, so always verify the collection address.
The in-app guide shows when these steps were last checked.
Follow a desk
The star on a desk saves it to the Watchlist desks tab. Alerts for a followed desk depend on the listing refresh, usually within the desk-market freshness window. The watchlist is part of Portfolio.
