How the console works
The open beta pages, what each one shows, and how fresh the figures are. Threshold amounts for individual Live events were last written down on 2026-10-04 and are not repeated here.
Live
/console. A feed of events about $OTC, coins, desks, and buybacks. Each event has a severity and a headline. Filters include $OTC, Desks, Buybacks, Movers, and FOMO, plus the older name for fast-moving new coins. That older name is still the filter label. Live also includes a Dev column; See all opens the older posts. The board is Coins → Hot. See the glossary. The movers board is rebuilt every 2 minutes. The share held by the top 10 accounts refreshes about every 10 minutes.
Stored data. Detection about every minute. Freshness target 5 minutes; stale after 30 minutes. During the open beta there is no delay: live events and summaries show as they land. After the beta the public view is planned to run behind and Access to remove that.
Coins
Hot (/console/coins), New (/console/coins/new), Top (/console/coins/top). A coin is /console/token/ plus the mint. Heat is 0 to 100. Hot's target is 3 minutes; stale after 30. Danger coins are hidden on Hot and Top until "Show Danger coins" is on.
Desks
/console/desks. Payout rounds, listings, and one page per desk. Windows: last hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, each compared with the previous window of the same length. Desk balances: target 15 minutes, stale after 6 hours 15 minutes. Listings: target 15 minutes, stale after 45 minutes. See What an OTC desk earns.
Portfolio
/console/portfolio/desks, plus Holdings, Watchlist, and Wallets. Watch only. Cached about 60 seconds, with an as-of time. A wallet that cannot be read is an error, not a zero.
$OTC and Protocol
/console/overview and /console/overview/protocol. The price is fresh within 2 minutes and stale after 10. Revenue is fresh within 1 hour and stale after 6. See What the numbers mean.
Safety
/console/safety. OK, Caution, or Danger. The best line is "No issues found in these checks. That is not a guarantee." Results cache for 10 minutes. See Safety check.
OTC site status
/console/live/otc-status. Whether otcdesks.cash answered the last scheduled check. Every few minutes, with an as-of time.
